Interactive Kennebunk Land Trust event Nov. 10 to bring 2026–2030 vision to life. Community members can help shape future of local land conservation.

KENNEBUNK – Kennebunk Land Trust (KLT) invites community members to its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, November 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Nonantum Resort for a unique, interactive experience: a chance to literally walk through the organization’s newly adopted 2026–2030 Strategic Plan.

Rather than simply presenting the plan from behind a podium, KLT is taking a hands-on approach to help attendees explore the organization’s vision, understand its goals, and see how those goals will translate into meaningful action for the community and the lands and waters that make this region special.

Through an engaging, walk-through experience, participants will move through the plan’s key priorities, processes, and anticipated outcomes, gaining an up-close understanding of where KLT is headed and how the community can help get it there. Along the way, attendees will have opportunities to share their perspectives, offer feedback, identify priorities, and connect with the work ahead.

Adopted in January 2026 following community surveys and interviews, KLT’s Strategic Plan for 2026–2030 sets a clear direction for the organization’s next chapter. The plan outlines goals and measurable actions to guide land conservation, stewardship, community engagement, and the long-term sustainability of the organization.

“Our strategic plan is about more than setting goals for the next five years. It’s about building a shared vision with our community for the future of conservation and ourdoor recreation,” said Sandy Gilbreath, Executive Director of Kennebunk Land Trust. “We want people to see not just what we hope to accomplish, but how we plan to get there, and, most importantly, how they can be part of it. This is an opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and help shape the priorities that will guide our work.”

Whether longtime supporters, current members, or community members curious about local land conservation, all are welcome to attend. KLT hopes the evening will inspire new connections, fresh ideas, and a stronger sense of shared purpose as the organization works to conserve and care for the lands and waters that shape the region and build a future where people and nature thrive together.

Snacks and drinks will be provided. Community members are encouraged to join the conversation, explore the plan, and help bring KLT’s vision for the future to life.

Space is limited and RSVP’s are highly encouraged – FMI and to register visit https://kennebunklandtrust.org/2026-annual-meeting/
