KENNEBUNKPORT — Streaming of town meetings has been disrupted following the unexpected, total failure of the town’s existing AV/TV system a few weeks ago.

Voters approved funding for a new system in June, but not all of the parts have been delivered yet.

“We have Zoom audio and Town Hall Streams active,” said Yanina Nickless, Kennebunkport’s human resources director. “We are working on Zoom video, YouTube streaming, and TV broadcast.”

Nickless said the TV broadcast is the most challenging piece to restore, since the town depends on Spectrum to fix the connection.

She said the remaining components should be resolved as soon as the next meeting, and the town will keep the public updated on its progress.
