ARUNDEL – The Kennebunk Kennebunkport Arundel Chamber of Commerce handed out ten awards to standout individuals and businesses at a multi-community event held at Vinegar Hill on Wednesday.

Nominees for the annual awards are put forward by the community, with winners chosen by chamber staff and the executive board.

This year’s theme was “Night of Champions,” said Chamber Executive Director Laura Dolce. “Because truly, we believe that all of our local business members are champions who help support this community.”

The Nonantum Resort took home Business of the Year, while Caring Community Cuisine received the President’s Award. Kennebunkport Town Clerk Tracey O’Roak was named Municipal Employee of the Year, and the Kennebunk Land Trust was honored as Nonprofit of the Year.

KBA board member and Eagle Bank employee Jess Owens won Volunteer of the Year, and the Seashore Trolley Museum’s Katie Orlando received the Driven Woman Award. Daytrip Society earned the Outstanding Achievement Award, while Brandon Solari of Solari Property Care & Excavations was recognized with the Rising Star Award.

Marie Louise St. Onge received the 3 Towns 1 Community Award, and Kennebunk’s George Harrington was honored with the Joel Stevens Community Spirit Award — a distinction selected at an annual meeting of the Joel Stevens Award board, made up solely of past winners and chaired by Dave Moravick.

Separately, the chamber also runs an annual survey across multiple business and nonprofit categories, with those winners determined solely by vote count. Certificate winners are listed here.
